Home Visits
As a mobile veterinary service home visits are an integral part of our practice. Due to the current state of Covid-19 we are taking all necessary measures to keep our patients, clients and staff safe. There are procedures that were already in place prior to Covid-19 such as disinfecting all our equipment before and after every visit but there are new policies that we’ve implemented to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Lastly if anyone in the household has or suspects that they have Covid-19 we ask that you please reschedule your appointment.
Phone Consultation Services Disclaimer
“Phone Consultation” appointments are available only to established clients of Ask The Vet Mobile Veterinary Services. A valid Veterinarian-Client Patient Relationship must already exist prior to scheduling a “Phone Consultation”.
“Phone Consultation” appointments are 20-minute virtual consultations intended for:
“Phone Consultations” do not replace a hands-on physical examination and are not appropriate for emergencies or urgent medical situations.
If your pet is experiencing any of the following, do not schedule a “Phone Consultation” and seek immediate in-person veterinary or emergency care:
Because “Phone Consultations” do not allow for physical exams, diagnostic testing, imaging, or vital assessments, Ask The Vet Mobile Veterinary Services may be limited in the ability to diagnose or treat certain conditions. Recommendations are based solely on information provided by the client during the consultation.
Prescribing or refilling medication during a “Phone Consultations” is at the sole discretion of the veterinarian and may require an in-person evaluation.
“Phone Consultations”appointments are billed at the time of booking. Once the consultation has begun, fees are non-refundable, regardless of outcome or recommendations provided.
“Phone Consultations”sessions may not be recorded by clients without prior consent. All consultations are conducted in accordance with the applicable privacy standards.
By scheduling a “Phone Consultations”, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the limitations, scope, and risks of virtual veterinary consultations.
